Young Money rapper Drake is set to star in a new sitcom titled “Us and Them.” Toronto-based the Nightingale Company said Canadian actor and rap artist Drake (government: Aubrey Graham) is to develop a new comedy series for the indie producer. It’s a sitcom about best buddies — and polar opposites – trying to make their way in the entertainment industry. His co-star will be Mazin Eisadig. The sitcom will air in Canada.
Drake acted in Degrassi: The Next Generation, a teen drama series (aired on both U.S. & Canadian Television) in which he played Jimmy Brooks, a popular school athlete who was shot by a classmate and confined to a wheelchair.
