Kim Kardashian hooks up with 50 Cent by signing with 50′s cosmetic & fragrance company, Lighthouse Beauty, which he co-owns with his manager Chris Lighty to develop a new signature fragrance for reality show star.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has an unlikely coach preparing her for the launch of her first perfume-she’s signed a deal with 50 Cent’s fragrance company.

However, Kardashian insists the unnamed fragrance will be unlike other A-list endorsements, after inking a deal with the rapper’s company, Lighthouse Beauty-which will also market and distribute a line of 50 Cent-inspired colognes later this year (09).

She tells Women’s Wear Daily, “What’s so different about their approach is that they have worked so closely with me on all aspects of my fragrance, the bottle, the juice…so I can develop a product that truly represents me and speaks to my fans….the fragrance really captures who I am.”

Jay & B at Barclays

Jay & B had a pretty busy Sunday as the couple first hit Jersey City, NJ to check out Tiger Woods play in the Barclays Event at Liberty National Golf Course. They followed Tiger as he finished in 2nd place and even rubbed shoulders with some of Jay-Z’s political connects…that is NY Senator Charles Schumer pictured above with Jay & B.

After watching some golf…the pair then headed to ‘The Brook’ aka Brooklyn, NY to watch and rock out wth Brooklyn-based indie rock band Grizzly Bear at the Williamsburg waterfont. Pic and video of Jay jammin’ below.

Well, if you were Jay-Z or Beyoncé (or Beyoncé’s sister Solange), then you braved the be-jorted masses in Brooklyn to check out Grizzly Bear’s set down at the Williamsburg Waterfront.

Yes, that’s right: In perhaps the summer’s biggest fish-out-of-water moment (aside from Kanye at Nine Inch Nails last week) Jigga and B waded into the epicenter of Hipster Nation on Sunday, sending texters and Twitters into a veritable frenzy as they grooved to the hazy, lazy sounds of Grizzly Bear at the final JellyNYC Pool Party of 2009.

Perhaps fittingly, they wore their Bedford Avenue best (Jay in dark shades and a gingham shirt, Bey channeling her inner Debbie Gibson), and by all accounts — i.e. roughly 100,000 Tweets and a few shaky YouTube clips — they were really into the show, drinking booze out of plastic cups (just like us!) and bobbing their heads to the beat (and during GB’s sun-dappled “Ready, Able,” Jay even threw his hands in the air as if he didn’t care). Apparently, Solange is really into the Grizz, and brought Jay and Bey out to the show. — Source: MTV

Signs are all pointing to a third installment in the action/comdey, ‘cop buddies’ film Bad Boys franchise. The Bad Boys movie series star Will Smith & Martin Lawrence will require the actors ro reprise the roles of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett respesctively in the possibility of a “Bad Boys 3.”

Sony Pictures has hired Peter Craig to pen the screenplay of a third Bad Boys movie with Miami detectives Lowrey and Burnett back on the scene. Though the initial stages have begun, there is still a chance the movie might not happen if the the money each actor requests isn’t comprable or if the all parties involved don’t agree with the final screenplay and/or script.

The first movie grossed $66 million dollars and is credited with the beginning of Smith’s path to superstardom and the second grossed $138 million; both figures are the domestic totals.

Despite having his planned “Family/40 Day” shut down by the City of New York, 50 heads back home to hood anyway to show and get some love.

Bobby Dash, Dame Dash’s older brother, exposes what he believes is the true reason behind the Roc-A-Fella break up. He addresses the Cam’Ron/Diplomats situation, the strain between Jay & Dame and the colliding of egoes. Check it out.

There was only specualtion on the reason behind the break up but can this be considered truth from a “involved” source?

Chris Brown has sat for interview with CNN’s Larry King which will air Wednesday night (9/2) at 9pm on CNN. In this clip of the interview CB claims to even remember what eaxctly happen that night. Sigh….well check it out for yourself.

50 Cent wasn’t able to perform in his old Queens neighborhood on Sunday (August 30), but the G-Unit rapper got plenty of hometown love during an hour-plus set he put on Saturday evening at Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park in New Jersey.

Fif organized a “Family Day” weekend, with events taking place both in New Jersey and in his old Jamaica stomping grounds in New York. But on Friday, his charity, the G-Unity Foundation, announced Sunday’s festivities — also called “40 Day” in honor of housing projects adjacent to PS 40 school in Queens where the picnic was scheduled to occur — would no longer be taking place because they were unable to obtain a permit. The rapper, as previously planned, was still able to bus a number of families from Queens down to New Jersey to enjoy a day at the park on Saturday capped off by a G-Unit performance.

“This show isn’t my regular show,” 50 told the cheering crowd of Southside Jamaica residents. “I’m doing something different tonight. I’m doing music that this crowd can relate to.”

Flanked by Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, 50 ripped through a number of early album cuts and G-Unit favorites, including “Poor Lil Rich” and “Straight Outta Southside.”

“I wanna thank y’all for getting on the bus,” 50 said between songs. “When I tried to do it in the ‘hood … they tell me I don’t come through the ‘hood. I come through. But you don’t see me ’cause I’m usually in something where I can’t be seen. You see them over there, though, that’s the motherf—ing police. They the ones that say I can’t do it. I’m from the Southside!”
