Former G-Unit Records President, Sha Money XL, has joined the house Russell built, Def Jam Records. Sha Monay will be VP of A&R — now the questions is…Will Sha Money Xl try to bring 50 Cent and the rest of G-Unit over to Def Jam since Banks, Yayo & Fif are technically all off Interscope and are currently free agents. More below:

So with 50 Cent a free agent, free to bring himself and his label — which includes Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo — anywhere he pleases, will Sha try to secure a spot for his longtime friends at Def Jam?

“I spoke to Fif, to [his manager Chris] Lighty. I would love to see that there,” Sha admitted. “Banks has an amazing record right now, independently. If things work out, then yeah, I would love to see that happen.”

Uh-oh…if you listen to Maino’s new track “Survival Of The Fittest” which is was suppose to appear on his sophomore album The Day After Tomorrow, you’ll probably notice that it has the same beat as Eminem’s  brand new single “Not Afraid” (which dropped yesterday). The beat was produced by Boi 1da and appears that Maino had the beat first…so there was a disconnect somewhere with all three involved. Anyway you can check it out below.
