Peep Nicki Minaj flashing some of her goodies as she covers the latest issue of KING. In between the sheets she speaks on making that move to Hollywood and how she needs a Thugged Out Ken to her SuperFreak Barbie:

KING: History has shown that acting is the likeliest transition for rappers. Considering your background, do you want to dabble in Hollywood?
NICKI MINAJ: Of course.

What would be your dream role?
I’d like to play someone in a Tim Burton movie, where I get dressed up and painted and crazy.

You kind of do that now.
Then I want to be able to do some action stuff, like Angelina Jolie.

Like in Salt?
Yes! And then I’d like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world. Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in Jason’s Lyric.

Classic film. You did mention earlier how everything has been time consuming. But when that time frees up, what kind of guy do you look for to be sentimental and organic with?
Um, I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man. You know, someone who is able to honor his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman.

How should your Ken bring out the freak in you, Barbie?
Just being super aggressive when the time is right.

Are we talking about Mortal Kombat–style “Come here” aggression?
Just something that makes me feel like they’re in control, when we are behind closed doors.

‘Po & Jeezy share covers in the 13th Anniversary issue of XXL magazine. Jeezy speaks on his return to the game with his TM103 album set to drop soon. “In my life, when I make decisions to roll, I roll. And I don’t give a fuck what the consequences are. If I’ma defend myself, I’ma defend myself. If somebody tryna kill or hurt one of my partnas or my comrades, that’s with me, there is no, ‘Yo,’ or, ‘Damn, well, if I pull this shit out, this is what’s gonna happen.’ No! I don’t wanna die. I don’t wanna be laid up in no fucking hospital with a tube runnin’ through me, hurtin’ and sufferin’. Pain is real. So you know what? I’m not doin’ that. You gon’ do that, motherfucker. You gon’ roll and say hi to Satan, not me. And that’s that. Your survival instincts tell you to protect and preserve, and you deal with whatever later.”

T.I. Covers the July/August 2010 issue of XXl Magazine. Since Tip recently got his independence from the pen, it’s only right the issue drops around Independence Day on July 6.  In the excerpt below the King of the South addresses those that say he snitched to get the light sentence he got:

“What people don’t take into consideration is the reason that I was eligible for certain agreements that they weren’t eligible for was because I made myself a useful member of society. Most muthafuckas catch cases and get time. My nigga, you wasn’t doing shit when you was out here, so wasn’t no reason for them to keep you out here. Please understand the G code that I learned from, if you speak out your mouth that a muthafucka is telling on somebody and you can’t come with indisputable, irrefutable facts to support that statement, that makes you the sucker,” T.I. said. “You are now in violation of the G code. And there ain’t nobody, nowhere in naan jail sayin’ I was on they paperwork.”

Jay-Z momentarily traded in the mic for the editorial pen — Jay-Z writes the introduction to Rolling Stone magazine’s upcoming issue that tackles the 500 greastest songs of all time…all time (that’s the Kanye effect). In the intro Jigga writes about what music means to him and how music has changed for the better and for the worse. Check it out – it’s a real interesting read. The issue will be out soon.

Weezy covers Ozone magazine’s Sex Issue hitting newsstands soon.

Just before getting locked up and serving his bid in Rikers Island Weezy had a sit-down interview with Ozone Magazine and discussed topics that touched on his objection to the release of The Carter Documentary, his relationship with Shanell, his kids’ mothers, child support and more. Below is excerpt of the interview concerning fatherhood & child support:

On whether he considers himself a good father and child support:
I’m not on child support with none of my kids cause I’m a great father. So it’s not determined by how much money you’re paying at all. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about being there and being that important person in their lives. It’s about being #1 or #2 in their life. That’s very important for your child, to make sure you’re that #1 or #2. Because if you’re not, you know what #1 or #2 could end up being. That’s the most important thing of all. I just try to make sure I’m of the highest importance in their lives, next to their moms.
