Doc had a sit-down interview with CNBC promoting his ‘beats by dre’ headphones but I’ll cut to the chase — At the 6:40 mark Dre confirms his single “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z is dropping in two weeks and his myth of an album Detox is definitely dropping in 2010. We’ll see…don’t hold your breath though.

Last night in NYC, Nas & Damian Marley preview their album Distant Relatives at a listening session put together by Digiwaxx Media. Obviously no recording was allowed but was allowed during the Q&A part of the session, which was also on USTREAM, where both artists speak and respond to questions about the album’s creation process and more. . Check it out. The event’s hosting duties were handled radio personalities Steph Lova and Davin Levy.

Distant Relatives drop May 25th.

Apparently the ‘net is buzzing on the pretty strong rumor that a brand new track from Dr. Dre featuring Jay-Z will be unleashed this week. The funny thing is, the source of the rumor is E! Television’s correspondent Michael Yo.

But check this out — The pic is above is from Dre’s official Aftermath Entertainment website & blog. It shows the faces of Dre on the right and Jay-Z on the left. It also shows both Dre  & Hova’s name in the Aftermath font. This only builds up the hype & the credibility that the track exists, could this mean the urban legend known as Detox may actually exist too?!?!…stayed tuned.

Joe Budden performs a new track off his upcoming album “The Great escape last in NYC’s S.O.B.’s club.

Last night, Jumpoff Joe Budden rocked the 1st of his back to back sold out shows at SOBs in New York City.

With about 80% of the crowd made up of dudes that took either a bridge or a tunnel to get to the venue, Jersey was in clear support. Before letting Joell Ortiz get some shine, Budden went in on a new joint from his forthcoming album Escape Route, it may be “Pray For Me pt.2″ but he didn’t say.

Diddy Puff Daddy is takin’ back to ’96 with a remix of Consequence’s “All U Want” track.  Puff recently had a sit down with The L.O.X. about signing a rumored one-album deal with his new Bad Boy/Interscope label venture a couple of days ago…So with Diddy getting nostalgic and adding his old moniker Puff Daddy to the cover art and The L.O.X.  appearing on “Bad Boy” remix is it safe to say them boys from Y.O. are back to making Puff mad more C.R.E.A.M.?
